The Dweller over centuries

7 Lives of The Dweller (resident of India)
Assuming 7 lives, average human life of 65, alternate form as human, the lives would span around 4 centuries. If one revisits a life every 100 years, starting 1820, lets look at what would be the scene.
1820 – an intensely entrenched caste system
1920 – Gandhi and untouchability
2020 – Honour killing continues
2120 – The hunted become the hunter.
So, the soul in first life in 1920 is a strong advocate for the caste system. In 1920, he leads an uprising against it. In 2020, he becomes a victim of honour killing while in 2120, he makes the first move and kills the oppressor.
Now imagine if the soul could visit its past and future forms and interact with them. How would the 2020 form look at the 1820 one and how 1820 one reacts to the 2120 one’s actions? How one topic, entrenched for so long, moved in a time frame of 200 years? On which side would you have been in 1820 and 2020?

1820 – British rule supreme with some kingdoms coexisting
1920 – all, irrespective of caste, religion and region, against a common foreign enemy
2020 – Divided house among divided countries
2120 – ?
I do not know what opinion I would have had in my previous life. But based on my experiences/ stories, it would be interesting to know my grandfather’s view on current state. Staunch non-vegetarian, once he sent grass to his neighbour. Why? It was an auspicious day when grass is fed to the cow (Gai in local language) and neighbour’s name happened to be ‘Gay’atri. Orthodox and if he were not a Parsi, I guess, he would have been an advocate of caste system. But being a member of Bose’s INA, he would have had the choicest of abuses for current state of affairs.
How interesting would it be if we could converse with our own self over different life eras? Presently, we cannot check our past or see our future. But in future, hopefully our current imprints in the social media will prevail and be preserved. So be careful of what and how you write or act now as maybe the 2120 version of yourself may not be too pleased with your 2020 self.
